How to Apply for an AOA Badge

An AOA badge is the most common type of badge. The AOA is defined as all areas within the fenced portion of the airport excluding the SIDA. This badge will allow access to general aviation areas of the airport. It does not allow access to the SIDA/Secure area at the terminal building.

AOA Badging Process:

Your affiliation’s signatory authority (employer, lease site organization or other approved entity known to Airport Management) will decide the level of access you will be granted. You will be required to complete and sign a badge application form. The form may be completed online but must be signed by hand. The authorized signatory must also complete and sign their parts of the form.

Schedule an appointment with the badging officing using the button below.

When you attend your badging appointment, you will be required to bring your completed and signed application along with two forms of matching identification from the acceptable documents list, one of which must be a primary form.

  • Primary forms of identification are certain government-issued cards or documents that are listed on the acceptable documents list exhibiting both the bearer’s photograph and signature. They must be written in the English language and valid, not expired or suspended.
  • Secondary forms of identification may be used to support primary documents. They must not be expired, if an expiration date is applicable. Please review the acceptable documents list for approved secondary forms of identification.
  • For non U.S. Citizens: In addition to the required documents above bring one of the following: Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card. If you do not have Alien registration card, provide I-94 Form and Non-Immigration Visa.

Once you have been cleared by the TSA, you will be emailed a voucher code to log in and complete your training course.

Once you have successfully completed the online training course, we will email you a calendar link. You will need to schedule an appointment using the calendar link to pick-up your badge. At the time of pick-up, you will pay the AOA badge fee.
